Access to Insight baru saja menerbitkan buku Path of Purification (Visuddhimagga) oleh Bhadantacariya Buddhaghosa terjemahan Bhikkhu Nanamoli dalam bentuk PDF yg bisa di-download di http://www.accesstoinsight.org/lib/authors/nanamoli/PathofPurification2011.pdf

Visuddhimagga — The Path of Purification: The Classic Manual of Buddhist Doctrine and Meditation, translated from the Pali by Bhikkhu Ñāṇamoli.

"The Visuddhimagga is the 'great treatise' of Theravada Buddhism, an encyclopedic manual of Buddhist doctrine and meditation written in the fifth century by the great Buddhist commentator, Bhadantacariya Buddhaghosa. The author's intention in composing this book is to organize the various teachings of the Buddha, found throughout the Pali Canon, into a clear and comprehensive path leading to the final Buddhist goal, Nibbana, the state of complete purification. In the course of his treatise Buddhaghosa gives full and detailed instructions on the forty subjects of meditation aimed at concentration, an elaborate account of the Buddhist Abhidhamma philosophy, and detailed descriptions of the stages of insight culminating in final liberation"

NB: Yg gak bisa berbahasa Inggris, mungkin harus nunggu versi bahasa Indonesia-nya terbitan DC. Mudah2an dr pihak DC ad yg mau terjemahkan ke bahasa Indonesia & menerbitkannya dlm bentuk e-book yg bisa di-download gratis... :)

Menurut kata pengantarnya ini edisi ke-4 hsl kerjasama BPS (Buddhist Publication Society) dg ATI....

kira2 bedanya yg signifikan dgn edisi sebelumnya apa ya?

Hmmm, katanya sih sama dengan edisi ke-3: teksny tidak berubah, kecuali beberapa yg terlewat oleh penerjemah dan sedikit perubahan gaya tulisan....

edisi bahasa indonesia sudah ada kok, diterbitkan secara nyicil oleh Mutiara Dhamma Bali

Saya jg pernah liat bukuny di perpustakaan vihara, kalo gak salah dibagi jd 3 jilid.... Mgkn DC bs menerjemahkan kembali dg lebih baik.... sekedar usul... :)

saya mau nanya visuddhi magga ini sebenarnya ada berapa buku ya untuk versi bhs inggris? dan untuk bhs indonesia ada berapa buku? di mana saya dapat memperoleh scr gratis?

sekalian nanya, yang link yang dipoast seniya itu visudhi magganya dah lengkap ya?
