Mereka yg memiliki keterbatasan waktu utk mengikuti retreat untuk meditasi, sekiranya dapat dilakukan dirumah dengan bimbingan melalui email atau by phone dari muridnya Ven. Paauk Sayadaw, Tina Rasmussen and Stephen. Meditasi sendiri dirumah secara intensif  disebut solo retreat. Hi bond,
Guidance on solo retreats means that if you do a retreat at home, we can guide you through email or by phone. You could also be at a retreat center and we could guide you while you are there, as long as your other teacher(s) agree.

It is very good that you practice 1-1.5 hours twice a day. You are very dedicated! This will help you with purification, and prepare you for if you go on retreat. Because the jhana practice is an intensive practice, it usually requires the yogi to be on retreat to attain jhana. If the yogi is talking and working during the day, their concentration wanes and is becomes difficult to attain jhana. This is why retreats are important in this practice. Usually, it is best to meditate 8 to 12 hours a day on retreat when doing this practice.

When moving from Jhana 1 to Jhana 2, the concentration increases and the jhana factors drop one by one. How this works is a bit complicated, and is explained by Ven. Pa Auk Sayadaw in his book Knowing and Seeing. Stephen and I also explain it in our book which should be available by May 1. I would suggest that you read more about it there.

Hanya berharap buku mereka diterbitkan dengan baik, dan semoga ada pdf/ebook yang bisa didownload.
Dulu saya pernah bertanya kepada mereka apakah buku mereka akan digratiskan atau tidak, tetapi tidak dijawab.

Buku2 tentang meditasi dari Pa Auk Sayadaw sedikit sekali, paling ada beberapa yang bisa didownload.

Mohon sharingnya tentang strategi mengatur waktu latihan meditasi duduk di rumah dong. [-o<

Cari waktu luang misalnya pagi, kalau berangkat kerja jam 6, ya bangunlah jam 4 lalu meditasi sampai jam 5.

kalau malam gunakan saja waktu 1 jam sebelum tidur.

Kita sendiri yg harus bisa menyiasati waktu, bukan waktu yg mengatur kita. _/\_
