Until june 23th archaeologists are trying to save what they can of the ancient Buddhist city of mes Aynak, 20km south of Kabul, Logar province. After that date, the Chinese (government owned) mining company will start an open pit mine at the location of Mes Aynak. The intention of this petition is to save the ancient city
of Mes Aynak and to prevent irreversible damage to the environment!
