Teman-teman sekalian,
why? i have been joining 2 international buddhist forums, and in my opinion we don't need to create another. lioncity.net/buddhism was one of the biggest buddhist forum, but when they got broken, the owner never revive it again. now we have great forums such as dhammawheel and so on. they are more competent because english is their native language, and they can converse just nicely.
I agree with this...
Dear friends,
The English version of Dhammacitta does not mean to replace other English forum, but rather it serve the purpose of drawing attention of foreigners to Indonesia.
It helps the English speaking community from outside to communicate with English speaking community in Indonesia, sharing opinions, events etc... Bridge language barrier...
No need to worry about bad English, foreigners (especially English speaking westerners) are fully understand English is not our native language. I've met so many foreigners Oriental, Latinos, etc speaking much worse compared to us, but no problem as long they understand the meaning.
Nevertheless language is only a means to communicate.
