hello everyone,
is there someone who know what kind of ability (beside of ability to translate) are needed to be buddhist translator? Does anyone ever being english translator (interface/book translator)?

actually you should be understand the Buddhist (teaching etc) to be able a great translator...

for example :

jhanna etymology  .. etc...

if you want eat delicious food, you do not need become a great chief, just expense ur pocket
but if you want make proud of urself, make it handy ;D

several guys did it before . . .

LoL, i mean any special advice before doing interface translation? because it's a kinda different with translating book/article.

oh ya, its important to read some references because sometimes people also use sanskrit or any other term in Buddhist talk.

Practice makes perfect... As the first step employ ur self to be an editor, there u can learn the term or jargon used in buddhist articles
