Tolong ! / [HELP]penjumlahan...
« on: 20 September 2011, 11:02:32 AM »

SolarTower Mojave Desert California, USA

ini adalah pembangkit tenaga surya Solar Tower. dimana ribuan cermin memantulkan sinar matahari ke tungku yg berisi cairan garam yg dpt dipanaskan hingga 565 derejat celcius.

semangkin banyak cermin yg memantulkan cahaya sinar mata hari, semangkin tinggi pula panas yg terjadi di tunggu (permukaan yg dipantulin).

pertanyaan :
katakan kalau 1000 cermin menghasilkan 565 celcius,
bagaimana      3000 cermin ? bagaimana dgn 1.000.0000 cermin ? apakah ini dpt melelehkan BATU ?

mohon masukkannya....karna udah lama gw ingin tauuuu  :P

Solar central power towers generate electric power from sunlight by focusing concentrated solar radiation on a tower-mounted heat exchanger (receiver). The system uses hundreds to thousands of sun-tracking mirrors called heliostats to reflect the incident sunlight onto the receiver. These plants are best suited for utility-scale applications in the 30- to 400-MWe ranges. In a molten-salt solar power tower, liquid salt at 290°C (554°F) is pumped from a “cold” storage tank through the receiver where it is heated to 565°C (1,049°F) and then on to a “hot” tank for storage. When power is needed from the plant, hot salt is pumped to a steam generating system that produces superheated steam for a conventional Rankine-cycle turbine/generator system. From the steam generator, the salt is returned to the cold tank where it is stored and eventually reheated in the receiver.

Hundreds of floating lanterns ascend in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in the winning "After Dark" picture in the World Photography Awards' 2011 Open Competition.

"We believe that it's a symbol of problems and worries floating away," photographer Chumlong Nilkon said of the lanterns in a statement.

Bab I. Komposisi

dst....

Extremophiles
They don't need oxygen or sunlight and can survive acid baths and doses of radiation that would kill other organisms.

With concerns over food security, and new mandates to use more biofuels, researchers are ramping up their efforts to find new ways to turn plant material into fuel. The biofuel-producing catalysts are rugged, stable and can thrive under pressure.

A trove of unique extremophiles were found at the bottom of the 7,800 foot-deep Homestake Gold Mine in Lead, S.D. Click to enlarge this image.

Extremophiles are tiny microbes that are able to thrive in hot, salty and even acidic or gaseous environments that would kill other forms of life. Now scientists are using these hardy dwellers of the seafloor and hot springs to produce biofuels like ethanol more efficiently and at lower cost.

These heat and salt-loving microorganisms are good at breaking down biological material like wood chips, waste crops or other sorts of plant material. They also literally "take the heat" when it comes to punishing industrial processes. Until recently, researchers have had trouble culturing these wild-growing extremophiles and harnessing their properties. But recent advances have allowed them to turn them into bio-powered refineries.

Evolve Your Brain: The Science of Changing Your Mind

Learn to take control of your mind by re-programming your thinking. Neurological expert Dr. Joe Dispenza demonstrates how thoughts create chemical reactions that keep you addicted to certain behaviors and feelings – even unhappy ones. By understanding your mind’s workings, you can start replacing old habits with more positive ones.

In this inspiring two-hour seminar Evolve Your Brain- The Science of Changing Your Mind Dr. Joe Dispenza explains how the brain evolves; learns new skills; how we can take control of our mind and how thoughts can create chemical reactions that keep us addicted to patterns and feelings-including the ones that make us unhappy. When we know how these habits are created we can set about not only breaking these patterns; but also re-program (rewire) our brain so that new and positive habits can take over and benefit us in our daily life.Dr. Dispenza was featured in the smash hit docu-drama What the Bleep Do We Know! and What the Bleep Down the Rabbit Hole .

seorang suhu yg bisa dimasukin dewa (biasanya disebut tang ki) beriklan lewat media cetak dimana dia dpt membantu sederetan masalah duniawi apa saja....

Setelah peminat menghubungin dia.... maka "bantuan" dan pemberian "arca2" dewa pun dikirimkan dgn memberikan wawasan tentang solusi permasalahan yg akan dicapai....

"korban" dimintain duit... hampir 200jt...dgn alasan mau bangun wihara dst dst...

mohon masukannya...

Language: English
01:14:02 | 720x400 | XviD - 1373Kbps | 25.000fps | MP3 - 128Kbps | 747MB
Genre: Documentary

In this fascinating documentary, historian Bettany Hughes travels to the seven wonders of the Buddhist world and offers a unique insight into one of the most ancient belief systems still practised today. Buddhism began 2,500 years ago when one man had an amazing internal revelation underneath a peepul tree in India. Today it is practised by over 350 million people worldwide, with numbers continuing to grow year on year. In an attempt to gain a better understanding of the different beliefs and practices that form the core of the Buddhist philosophy and investigate how Buddhism started and where it travelled to, Hughes visits some of the most spectacular monuments built by Buddhists across the globe. Her journey begins at the Mahabodhi Temple in India, where Buddhism was born; here Hughes examines the foundations of the belief system - the three jewels. At Nepal's Boudhanath Stupa, she looks deeper into the concept of dharma - the teaching of Buddha, and at the Temple of the Tooth in Sri Lanka, Bettany explores karma, the idea that our intentional acts will be mirrored in the future. At Wat Pho Temple in Thailand, Hughes explores samsara, the endless cycle of birth and death that Buddhists seek to end by achieving enlightenment, before travelling to Angkor Wat in Cambodia to learn more about the practice of meditation. In Hong Kong, Hughes visits the Giant Buddha and looks more closely at Zen, before arriving at the final wonder, the Hsi Lai temple in Los Angeles, to discover more about the ultimate goal for all Buddhists - nirvana.

Incense smoke hazardous to health: Thai officials
China Post, Updated Saturday, March 12, 2011 11:17 pm TWN, AP

BANGKOK -- The clouds of aromatic smoke that waft through Thailand's Buddhist temples are potentially hazardous to your health, according to the country's Public Health Ministry, which has issued new guidelines for incense burning.

The smoke emitted from the incense, or joss sticks, commonly used at temples contains unsafe levels of benzene, butadiene and benzopyrene, which could cause leukemia and lung, skin and bladder cancers, Thailand's Health Minister Jurin Laksanawisit said in a statement Thursday.

The ministry is recommending that temples avoid lighting the incense in poorly ventilated places, use short joss sticks rather than long ones and quickly discard ashes from burned incense, the statement said.

Temple staff should avoid prolonged exposure to the smoke, wash their hands and faces after handling joss sticks and have annual medical checkups, the ministry said. The findings were based on a study conducted by Thailand's Chulabhorn Research Institute based on samples from temples in three provinces.

The samples showed the incense smoke contained benzene at levels 53 times higher than recommended safety standards, 33 times more butadiene and 10 times the amount of safe benzopyrene, the statement said.

Beberapa komponent asap yg diatas tingkat normal
BENZENE          53 X
BUTADINE         33 X
BENZOPYRENE  10 X

Bagaimana cara mengukurnya ?
